Rooms and beds

A room for every booking, never two at once

Treatment rooms and beds are part of the booking, so the schedule matches the building.

  • No double-booked rooms. A room is held for the whole session.
  • Automatic pick. Leave the room on "Any free room" and one is chosen for you.
  • Couples rooms. A room for two takes a couples booking.

Therapist preference is part of booking, in the app and on your site.

  • On your booking site. Guests choose Any, Female or Male before they pick a therapist.
  • In the app. Your team can filter by it too.
  • Optional. Set it per therapist; leave it out where it does not apply.

In the room

A live timer for the treatment

When staff press Start, the spa and the guest see the same timer.

  • Shared timer. On the live queue and on the guest's token page.
  • Bill on the booking. An estimate first, then the actual bill with paid and balance.
  • Wait estimates. Several therapists working at once are counted.

Frequently asked questions

How does GlowStack stop two clients being booked into one room?

Treatment rooms and beds are set up in Settings. A booking takes a room for its time, and a room is never booked for two clients at once. If you do not choose one, a free room is picked for you.

Can a couple be booked together?

Yes. A room with capacity for two is a couples room, and a couples booking puts two guests in it at the same time, each with their own treatment and therapist.

Can customers choose a female or male therapist?

Yes. Customers can ask for a female or male therapist on your booking site, and your team can filter by it in the app.

Does it work for packages and memberships?

Packages is one of the default service categories for spas, and customers can hold Silver, Gold or Platinum memberships with their own benefits.

Do I need GST to use it?

No. You can choose not registered (a plain bill with no GST), composition scheme (a bill of supply) or regular GST registration (a GST tax invoice). Changing it affects new bills only.

Can guests see how long their treatment has left?

Yes. When staff press Start, the spa and the guest see the same timer, and the guest sees their bill on their booking.
